Japan Metropolitan Fund Investment Corporation is Japan Retail Fund Investment Corporation, the first investment corporation in Japan specializing in the management of Retail real estate, and was the third Japanese company to be listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in March 2002 (Securities code 8953).
In March 2010, it merged with LaSalle Japan REIT Inc., and then in March 2021, it merged with MCUBS MidCity Investment Corporation (formerly MID Investment Corporation), an office building-focused REIT, transforming it into Japan's largest diversified REIT and changing its name to Japan Metropolitan Fund Investment Corporation.

Industrial & Infrastructure Fund Investment Corporation was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in October 2007 as Japan's only industrial real estate REIT.

In October 2022, KRJ Management's Private Solutions division was established and began providing discretionary investment and advisory services to institutional investors through private funds, including real estate funds raised and managed by KKR.

In October 2025, KJRM Private Solutions commenced operations as an asset management company specializing in private fund management business. Through this new structure, KJRM now provides investors with a full range of real estate asset management services.

By strengthening our private fund management capabilities, we have expanded our investment targets, enabling KJRM as a whole to provide real estate management services to a wide range of investors. In addition, this diversification of our management capabilities has contributed significantly to the inorganic growth of JMF and IIF.
